I have thought of honoring the memories Walter Nowick, Merle Bisberg and other special individuals who made and make the Barn and Surry, Maine a special place. These individuals, the Surry Opera Company and all our collaborators from near and far share a special bond and legacy.
The day will start with a telling of that legacy and the special people who envisioned it, shaped it, and whose talents and incredible dedication and drive made it what it was. We will do via video clips, slide shows a telling and sharing of stories and more. All are welcome even if you were not a part the dynamic evolution that the Russians poetically named "People of the Earth Together". We shared some much thru the music over almost twenty years.
We will all share this legacy at the Barn as well as finger food and drink on Sunday, Sept, 21 at 4:00PM.
